Rita is a senior associate at Nussbaum Law Group. Prior to joining the firm, Rita was an attorney with an international law firm in New York City in its Global Competition Litigation group where she focused her practice on antitrust cases.  Rita has also represented commercial clients in a variety of lawsuits alleging violations of antitrust and consumer protection laws, including consumer class actions and investigations by federal, state, international, and foreign regulatory authorities.  Rita has also represented clients in securities class actions and shareholder derivative actions.

Rita received a BA in history and political science with a minor in economics from the University of Utah at Salt Lake City.  She graduated from St. John’s University School of Law in 2008, where she served as a senior staff of the New York International Law Review, a New York State Bar Association publication, and was a recipient of several academic awards.
